I'm not surprised. I've debated picking one up, but even at the lower closeout and factory second pricing, I'm not sure whether it's worth the bother. Technically, "fully forged" should mean: Blade forged to shape from barstock. Finish grinding only. (as in, not cut out on a bandsaw out of a flat sheet) Bolsters forged to shape. If you're saying fully forged, I'd say liners and bolsters should be unitary as well, not pinned or soldered together. -...
