Re: Imitation Horn

The police / sheriff report in Thursday's paper had over dozen examples (compared to just a few for the men), Women were charged with DWI, breaking and entry, failure to appear, DWI underage, larceny, resisting a...

Re: Imitation Horn
Tom, I haven't ever gone to Mayberry Days even though it is close to me. I have seen some videos from it including a very interesting one by Don Knotts daughter. I should make it a point to go. Jim Don Knotts was from Morgantown WV. There is a cool statue of him in front of the Metropolitan Theatre...

Moonshine is a thing of the past now, they can get more money for a gallon jug full of Oxcy then they could for a whole tanker load of shine, the drug war is and has been a losing battle. It's not just Mayberry Jim, it's everywhere. Ton of moonshine around here. A friend brought an 8y old jar to my...

Re: Hubertus Safari Club
I have the 1998 and the Safari Club. Both extremely cool blades. Have you ever seen the Forest Messer? It's a real beauty too. It's a pen blade release. That sucks about the busted back spring on that camper. I have a hubie camper I've had for 16 years. I've busted I think 4 kick springs on the thin...

Re: The Long Life of the Camper
Really beautiful stag on those older ones. Also wish the newer models had the more rounded thicker bolsters?
I have one older Hubie with the rounded bolsters. Wonder when they went to the flatter ones.

Re: Vintage German WWII fantasy switchblade
Love the brass scales.
The first "switchblade" I owned was one with a broken spring I could flip out when I was in HS. I wish I still had it.
It was or looked like a Colonial bowtie but the scales were brass like that.

I like the rear bolster. I have an older Hubertus with more rounded bolsters like that where some of my newer ones have more flat ones.
