Re: Lock knife with lock removed
I’m in north west,
Luckily the majority of mine are all uk legal with the exception of one or two.
Hopefully a quick call the the local police force should clarify things saying that I get an officer who’s got half a clue

Re: Lock knife with lock removed
So it looks like British blades forum has been closed down due to health issues of the owner.
Best wishes and I hope you beat whatever it is

Re: Lock knife with lock removed
Hi gravknife Nice to see I’m not the only brit who sees the flaws in our legal system. I’d give anything to be able to add switchblades and balisongs to my collection but that would instantly make me a knife wielding serial killer with a thirst for blood. I can defo see the logic we follow as per it...

Lock knife with lock removed
Hi
New to the forum and must say very useful.
Anyway I’ve got a Cold Steel Tuff Lite which is under 3” and I’ve stripped and modified so that the back lock doesn’t engage essentially turning this into a slipjoint.
Is this now classed as uk legal ?
Any info is appreciated
Thanks
