The results from an internet search suggest that it was a Finnish made knife. It may still even be in production by Pertemet in Sorsakoski, Finland, but I can't read the website, so I can't tell you. Is this it? Scroll down a little. http://www.pertemet.fi/tuotteet.htm Results turned up some sellers...

The handles are titanium, and they heat anodize. Google says: "Titanium is a reactive metal which means it can be colored. The coloring occurs by growing oxides on the surface of the titanium. The oxide is clear. Different thicknesses of the oxide allow different wavelengths of light to pass which r...

Imageshack has an option to resize, or you can do it yourself. At imageshack, you just have to choose your resolution and check a box. If you would prefer to do it yourself, open the picture in Paint. Go to Image, then Stretch/Skew. Decrease both stretch numbers to the same amount, and repeat as nec...

I dunno, I thought it was funny.

It's an awful lot like the bleeding Rudolph hung from a tree:

Wow, that's pretty impressive. I wish I could do something like that.

Unfortunately, I don't have a grinder or even any suitable files, and I don't quite trust myself to drill true holes with a hand drill.

Would plain handles be too heavy for proper flippage?

Well, there's only so much you can do with a hammer and a crescent wrench. I really can't do anything beyond polishing the handles.

I've been thinking about getting one rehandled too. How much do you think he charges?

Should I get a Typhoon or a Spyderfly?

A few weeks back, I picked up a cheap cheap balisong, and I've really been having some fun flipping it around. However, it's so loose I'm afraid it's going to spontaneously disassemble one of these days, and all of the Chicago screws on it are badly stripped so I can't tighten it. I figure it's time...

Another new member

Another new member here.

I've been a long time lurker here, but have only recently gotten around to signing up.

So far, my collection is very small, consisting of the ubiquitous Milano stamped cheapy stilleto, a cheapo clone of a Benchmade 3550S, and a CCC balisong.
