Re: Request info
After several days of working on it I found that the button and its arm came out of the handle. That freed the blade. I was able to slip the button back in to hold the blade open. Now on to make a stand and description card and put in the museum showcase. Thanks for the hints and interest.. Dennis

Re: Request info
Thanks for the info. I would say the lock is not engaged, it moves freely up and down. The button seems to be down even with the handle. Just an FYI, I am on the Board of Directors and also one of the Archivist's of the Connecticut Air & Space Center Museum located in Stratford Ct. I would love to d...

I cannot get the button to press in to release the blade. Dont know if you can see but the handle has been slightly pried ...

Re: New Additions
My apologizes Bill, I did not know of your knives until this thread. Using another companies name is bull...t. Sorry they stole from you. The knives came off of ebay. One was from a private seller in the states and the other was from a company in China. A day after the China transaction ebay shut th...

Re: New Additions
My thoughts exactly. I don't even like closing my good ones and putting tension on the springs. I'm going to take one of the China ones in the machine shop and recess the back handle so I can put in a 1st Cav Vietnam pin and present it to my friend.

Just received these two. I do not claim to be an expert, I just fell in love with switch's since I first saw Garrisons Gorillas when I was 11 years old. The Pearl was acquired in the states and the black handle came from China. The safety slide lock on the Pearl seemed to loosen up a bit and now sli...

Thanks for the info. Wasn't thinking about selling just interested in their history. The fishing one makes sense seeing he had a few boats on Long Island Sound.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Request info pics included
Heres another one I came across. I must have gotten this over 30 years ago. Is that possible or are my memories fading? It still snaps open very fast. Great for mustaches. Hi, I recently put up the "Partial Collection" thread a little while ago. I recently got this one from my uncles estate. He was 94 when he passed last December. The button cannot be pushed in unless you push the blade in a little bit, then the button moves and the knife can be opened. Any info is ap...
