Re: Introduce myself and websites

I can see more so on the "bad ones" as they get a bad reputation and possibly attempt to fool the buying public into thinking they are dealing with another place. But, I agree about not understanding on why the more reputable sites do it as well. Same stock, same procedure, different name.

Re: Flade Blade

Is it a type of knife? Is it a stamp? I'd like to see this one. All I get when I search is a YT channel called "Blade Flade" and this thread. I believe it's just a typo in a sales description. (Unless it's code word for Flat-Grind/Standard Blade lol)... http://www.sharperdeals.net/index.p...

Re: Coricama 13" Early Italian Stiletto Switchblade Model Possibly Battle Worn WWII

I hadn't thought much about the English stamps on Italian made knives until I saw "PROTOTIPO" instead of PROTOTYPE written on one of Renzo Pascotto's. Then...I wondered why myself.

Re: Curious

I wasn't aware that Frank B produced a Frosolone style Scott. I've seen his Stiletto with no bottom bolsters. I certainly prefer N/S bolsters and would think any limited edition piece would have them, but apparently not(?).

Schrade Walden NY Ruins

So many knives made here. It's wonderful that many of the knives survived, but the factory did not. Re: Dad worked for Schrade

lol..yes Mr. natcherly, it looks like someone may have attempted to prune a tree rather than a simple haircut with these. I often brought up the switchblade subject with him. He just never seemed to have a drop of interest. He carries a Schrade pocketknife with him all his life. Comes in and out of ...

Re: WTB: Display stand

I'm not really familiar with that specific one arlen. Looks well built and sturdy. Depends on whether you want to display your collection or rather keep them more private in a drawer type case. One "problem" (if you will) with my suggestion, is if you host much company ie. the type you'd r...
