Great, Bill. I’m kinda’ hoping that if you do get Angelo to get them built there again, they may mark them A.G.A. Campolin so we can differentiate the brand from AKC (All Knives China). Just a thought.

Re: Milano Bird’s Beak Leverlock on Perry Knifeworks
Since Angelo has partnered with the Chinese builders creating "AKC-WORLD", "AKC-ROMA" and "AKC-XTREME", it won't be long before arguments ensue about the older "AKC-ITALY" products being genuine Italian to newer collectors. The entire Italian AKC line is phasing out to China. Angelo transferred some ...

Re: The Rifleman Season 1 Ep. 20, "The Deadeye Kid"
Quite a few switchblades have been in “The Rifleman” TV series. Seemingly out of place for a show supposedly taking place in the 1800’s, just after the war.

Snowy forecast for a lazy Saturday afternoon. So, binge watching the 1960-62 “Thriller” TV series hosted by Boris Karloff.

I do get some chuckles out of “South Park”. Hard to believe even that show is nearly 30 years old.sammy the blade wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 1:16 am How about bevis and butt head, those two made me realize I'm not as dumb as I thought I was.

Re: Nearly-forgotten TV-shows, Themes, and Ads.
Currently watching the Kung Fu tv-series from 1972 starring David Carradine (should have been Bruce Lee)
in full HD 1080 it's also much better quality than what we had back then.

Re: Early Frank B rostfrei wood 9 inch swivel switchblade
I have not seen too many with the lower case B
I have a vintage upper case B 13 inch and it fires with a loud crack like a cannon.
I like older knives
I believe this is the early Frank Beltrame lower case "b", and I agree, we don't see many (at least, I haven't).

Re: Early Frank B rostfrei wood 9 inch swivel switchblade
It certainly may B
I thought Frank used the B in early ones
Here’s Frank’s timeline for stamps:
1960-70 BV&F was used by Frank's father
Before 1996 Frank's old tang stamp was lower case b (capital letter "B" was used by Renzo B)
1996 to 2004 Frank used Stiletto Italy (AB Cutlery in 1996 ...

So sorry about that accident, Sammy. Damn drivers on cell phones forced me to sell my motorcycle some years back. I truly hope your recovery is swift.

Wandy in picklock form are not an easy find. Plenty of swivel bolsters, but not picklocks.porkchop wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2025 10:56 pm I did not have a wandy in my collection so I bought it despite the blade issues. It's still a nice piece to hold and look at.

Re: Rizzoto worth fixiing?
People are attracted to them for some reason but those were some of the junkiest knives I've ever come across. Each to their own I guess.
That’s the thing, Sammy. Junk that’s often survived 60 years. That’s the amazing part. They had to make them by the tens of thousands, there are still so ...
