Re: Sooo, has anyone else done this?!

I really hope this person doesn't know what/value this knife is, and the I hope no one sees this... haha. Ahh, now THIS is a whole new topic lol. Can't count the times, at the end of an auction, that I've actually laughed at myself for thinking/hoping this. Then, there's the flip side: "Why is nobo...

I've had Seller's Remorse and Buyer's Remorse, but this may fall under Bidder's Remorse, which could result in disaster if you happen to win the auction. I'd just have to hope to be outbid.

LMAO! Not exactly that Clark, but I HAVE woke up to a knife sale notification on my phone and made the purchase before my eyes even had a chance to fully focus! lol. Let's hope the bids on yours aren't quite jacked up to $7,500...lol

Beautiful Barb, both of them! Now, is the only difference between these and the batwings is the guards? Identical in every other way?

Some of the very later picklocks can be found with this grind also. Here are 2 EIG Cutlery's and an unstamped model in 9"...

Re: Asian knife?

Hi Scott. I must have a dozen Japanese Rizzys in my collection, yet I was still fooled with the purchase of a Korean model (thinking it was an unstamped Japanese Rizzy). Not a flat button, but without the textured scales and "peek guard", I'm sure very much like yours and John's. https://i.imgur.com...

Yes, Ian has been a very valuable asset and friend to this forum and has told us the terrible state of collecting availability over there. We often forget how truly lucky we are here. Wish I could help and wish you good luck in your searches. Here's my little 8" Rams ROMO ... https://i.imgur.com/j4K...

Extreme sports? Many of us were watching Evel Knievel jump his motorcycle on The Wide World Of Sports when it was still being broadcast in black and white lol. Enjoy your youth my friend, and be safe!

I never use to until our Bill D. posted a thread on "Handling or closing etiquette" I believe it was called. Made perfect sense to start doing so and I have ever since.

lol...That's funny since it's been said that Armando shares the same building with Frank, but haven't been on speaking terms for quite some time. That's GOT to make for a tough day at work! lol.
