Re: My Frank B with blonde horn

Gents - Some nice Blondes here for sure. Here are a few I've had for some years. 9" dagger blade is stamped Frank B Italy. 11" dagger has a very faint stamp of Stiletto Italy. Both have the same build, quality, snap and feel. The 9" swinguard is stamped Stainless Italy and is a thicker, heavier knif...

I think it is an older one. I have a smaller Hubertus that I bought in the early 1990's, well worn and I used it a lot, that is also stamped W. Germany.

Thank you sir. One of my favorites. It was sold as a "used" knife, but doesn't have many miles on it.

Large Hubertus - Double Bladed

Hi Gents - Recently read another post about large Hubertus autos, and did not want to hijack that thread, so starting a new one. Here is a 10" with wooden handles and is a two blade example. Very nice smooth action and overall excellent quality. An old Blade Auction purchase about 16 years ago. Cheers

Re: Horster Rostfrei - Identify

Nice stag auto. The blade does look shorter relative to German regulations. Horster made German bayonets, daggers and swords etc during WWII.

Re: Weidmannsheil & Hubertus Stag

I recall reading Weidmannsheil closed shop around 1991 or so. Given that my example has West Germany on the blade, I think it could be a Weltersbach produced auto. As we know, November 1989 Germany was reunified. As you clearly point out, a lot of similarity in the knifes for sure. But there are som...
