thom,

The stock models, at least those I have seen and own do have bottom bolsters.

Re: New Leverlock

Oh, I do really like this one! AIK does do nice custom work. Are the top bolsters brass? (My laptop doesn't provide crisp pics, (no matter how I try to adjust settings). I recently read that these "Bird's Beak" or "Powder Horn" leverlocks that have the brass bolsters with the brass lever are the "o...

Re: Awesome books, awesome authors

A big thank you to Mr. Walt Halucha and Mr. Charly Cioffero for signing my copy of “The Latama Legend.” Mr. Walt was also kind enough to sign a copy of a photo from his library (a young man admiring the spring steel displayed behind a storefront window in Times Square back in the 1950s). Also pictu...

Wow! That’s one gorgeous knife Thom. Looks like Jeremy does some nice work. I have one of those that may need the bolster treatment as well. That’s a real improvement! Did you supply the horn?
yes, I did supply the horn. Jeremy has horn, but I prefer to pick my own.

11" AGA Wasp Flatguard Custom

I am still waiting to find an 11" Renzo P.. Meanwhile I had one of the AGA customized. Started with Ebony Wood scales. I had them replaced with some nice Brazilian Horn. I had the safety button made smaller and the upper bolsters changed to 2 piece. Originally were 1 piece. Now it is completely like...

JV, I believe they were made the run before , mine has a 2014 stamp. Good luck.
Bernie had one years ago. I hesitated buying it and regretted ever since.

Re: Frank Beltrame hole in the blade

Is the one on the left an older FB? Also is the one on left nickel silver? I sold my older FB’s , like an idiot, but I think one of my older ones had a hole straight through.
Also is the one on left a pick lock?

That’s one pretty knife. Is that the fire button in the middle of the handle? What is the piece on the side, a release? It is 11”? When was it made?
