Re: Walt's Latama 9"

Luke, those knives should not peek like that. It is a flaw. If you were to sell them at some future date, and such things have been known to happen as interests and /or circumstances change, this would certainly hurt the value. You should contact Walt about this. He should be made aware that QC is n...

Re: Walt's Latama 9"

Very nice! The three I got from this run came without display boxes, but rather dark satin drawstring bags, perhaps this was due to how early on I bought them (June) or the generous wholesale discount Walt gave me. One thing that I really did appreciate was that he included a syringe-type vial of qu...

Re: New 11" Renzo Pascotto

Now if only Angelo could get RP to produce some 10'' 5mm flatguard classic stilettos with his stamp... I'd cough up a lot more for that than a frosolone

Re: New 11" Renzo Pascotto

when Angelo offered the Renzo Pascotto stamped pieces, I even passed them by at an already decent price. But, then he put them on sale, it was "an offer I couldn't refuse!" He got me with that sale too... http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/maggot_016/CAM02943_zpsv4mu86ez.jpg http://i...

Re: Genuine AKC stiletto

I've seen some AKC "traditional" stilettos that were convincing enough for me to consider them legitimate, strong snap, hefty, tight fit-and-finish, brass liners; most if not all were Pearlex, identical scales to that of Frank B's pearlex runs circulating through the market at the time (20...

Re: Renzo Beltrame 28cm, bayonet, swivel bolster

I didn't see the stamp up close for that white one, I thought it read "stiletto italy" tell me does the pin to the right of the safety slide stick up a bit? The blade has softer edges at the bayonet much like Renzo's pieces, maybe there's something to what JB said. SKM is the only m...

Re: Renzo Beltrame 28cm, bayonet, swivel bolster

Jules, the white pearlex is definitely Renzo Beltrame - did you get the darker one from autoknife.com? He's the one saying Renzo makes all the blades for the 13 inch AB/SKM knives, then lists them as a straight-up Renzo Beltrame piece. This goes back to what constitutes the justification for assignm...

Re: Stiletto-Italiano.com

Yes! Some good research gathered on this website ... majority of pics taken from the now-gone fredde10 album from sharperdeals, and frank's now-defunct facebook page. The site's owner also has a number of nice stilettos for sale but frankly I'm a little wary about ordering stuff from Russia...

Re: WTB: 11" bayonet blade, black acrylic stiletto

Be careful with autoknife. I too have needed (wanted) a black acrylic like the movies, and managed to score a 9'' bayo by Frank B a few years ago on sharperdeals, you could try contacting Sara but she takes a while to respond if they're busy.... ....which leads me to point you to contact Walt from L...

Re: Renzo Beltrame 28cm, bayonet, swivel bolster

Thanks Jules! I haven't seen a knife stamped "MADE IN ITALY" that was said to be by Renzo Beltrame, but SKM knives bear this stamp most recently and according to some folks, Renzo makes Armando's 13 inch blades so... But as I said in another post, even if someone else makes specific...
