Re: WTB: Renzo Pascotto-made Wasp-Body Flatguard
Please buy it before I do. So you can hear my horror story of dealing with roadsideimports afterwards? As entertaining as it is hearing about others who've fallen into his money traps, I'd rather not be one of them :P It is intriguing to see just how many Walt's he's bought out in the last year or ...

Re: 11" Frank B Picklock
I could very well be wrong, but I get the impression that I couldn't even order a common 9" Frank B swivel bolster from the site. I'm fairly certain I would be directed to the many outlets that sell the brand. I'm sure I've read others stating they buy from Frank directly. Not sure how that wo...

Re: Frank B stamp
Frank's father, Ivano, and Renzo's father, Danilo were brothers and both worked with BV&F - making Frank, Armando and Paulo cousins with Renzo. Renzo's official business title is literally "Beltrame Renzo of Danilo - S.N.C. of Lorenzo Beltrame & C. Frank's children are Sara and Ivano, t...

Short of the ATS-34 AB picklock Bernie's been trying to offload for a few months, you're gonna have a bad time looking for 'lettos with working-quality steel.

Re: Frank B stamp
Renzo Beltrame uses a different rendition of "Stiletto Italy" - not sure when he started using it, and although he still does use it, not all of his pieces even get stamps. I doubt anyone has really kept tabs on exactly what his stamp timeline has been, as it appears he apparently doesn't ...

Re: Knife purchase
Many people used Inox, just about everybody at some point. If the maker of this knife is determined, it probably won't be determined by the stamp.

Re: Any input about the B-stealth?
I seriously doubt that Mr. Beltrame actually makes these. I suspect they are actually made for him by MCM cutlery in Maniago, or are possibly made "offshore." I can't imagine he has the capacity to machine all the parts for these knives, but he most certainly makes the blades and handles,...

Re: Any input about the B-stealth?
Great to see the B-Stealth getting some love! I carry mine proudly everyday ... had to replace the belt clip after a workplace mishap, and had to replace the spring after about 18 months of rapidfiring... but hey it's better than a fidget spinner! http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o179/maggot...

Re: 8" Made in Italy Pick Lock
I actually just bought one very similar to this, have been planning to make a post about it but at the moment don't have a camera that will do it justice... great piece!
90% of my collection is 8 and 9 inch stilettos. I have all sizes, but 8'' Swedges and 9'' Bayos are definitely my favorite.

Re: Today's gun show finds
Not bad at all for the Korean one on the bottom. You'll easily fetch 2-3 times that much on eBay (assuming they don't pull the listing) - I almost want to suggest putting it as a "buy-it-now" to cut down the probability of that happening, but, as you mentioned, the bidding wars occurring t...

Re: Can someone help identify this “Stiletto”
whoever commissioned this run surely didn't help their cause having "stiletto" etched on the blade in the same font and location as the Taiwanese pieces ... oh well. The feature that points toward genuine Italian for me is the stonewashed blade (Taiwanese pieces have mirror finish), sear h...
