Re: Happy birthday Luke_of_Mass!

Thanks Terry for remembering my (end everyone else's) birthday, every time!

In my n100 and Kim Jong Il glasses, I thank you all from my humble abode in Western MA.

Re: SKM 9’ imitation pearl/ flat grind bolster release

Is that a German market piece?

I'm curious who's making Armando's knives these days since apparently he quit.

Re: RIP Chris Edwards

Can't believe how suddenly these things can happen...

Chris provided countless valuable insights on modern Italian knives for me, and had a wealth of knowledge about knives in general. We lost a friendly, knowledgeable member and he will be greatly missed.

Re: "Omega" Chris Edwards Commemorative Knife

Now that we know which parties have the most collaborative attitudes, I suspect this could go even better than the last run! (and that was pretty darn good too). Count me in!

Re: Question about switchblades

I emailed Frank about this, got a reply from his daughter, Sara. She said that Frank's recommendation is that the knife is stored open, but seemed more concerned in her letter that I have a safe place to keep all these open knives. I too have yet to build a proper display. They're in a steamer trunk...

Re: SHARPERDEALS

Merry x-mas, Bernie - glad to hear you and Bob were able to speak, i thought something like this would happen eventually. I'll be keeping an eye on what you've got for sale - and happy to collaborate on more runs whenever you're down, shoot me an email or pm :) Great to see you back on sharperdeals....

Re: Lawrence -- Sharperdeals

I don’t care either way Ernie. Just for your own happiness move on and away from Sharperdeals and start your own thing. You’ll be fine without Sharperdeals Agreed. I hate bitterness and strife within the community. Me too. I wish Mickey and I had not fought. :/ Nice to see some good feels here, it'...

Re: Lawrence -- Sharperdeals

And what if Bernie was doing side deals and not paying the auction owner? You guys going to take back what you’re saying? No, not really... lots of people have done it and continue to do it. I won't throw out any current names but I will say out of the two-dozen or so knives I bought from Rick G. a...

Re: Lawrence -- Sharperdeals

I would like to say that I've done many, many deals with Bernie for a number of years and always he was a very straight up genuinely good seller to me very reasonable prices and takes returns if you don't dig the piece - puts the customer first always. Could the email situation be a little better? s...

Re: Walt's Latama 11" Classic Bayonet blade Primo B&W horn

Hard to believe they missed a pin that high. Yeah, I know what you mean. And that safety in the pic I posted. And the peek. The majority of them aren't like this. But for the lemons it seems someone will always make an excuse for it, and it's unlikely this will ever really change. Just gotta look r...

Re: Walt's Latama 11" Classic Bayonet blade Primo B&W horn

Walt does the right thing by taking customer service seriously. Especially when selling knives like this they will never be all perfect. Of course perfect is in the eye of the beholder but there are obvious (and documented) issues to look out for especially in recent runs. It's a bummer but there's ...

No it's John Benson, the guy who got sued by Benchmade for selling knockoffs...

He goes by roadsideimports and Rubensblades is a known associate.

Glad this guy is happy with his knife, though.
