Re: need a display case for my collection.

I used to make custom cases for some people.(Barshoo knows me) There are ways to make a wall mount where the knives will stay. You use a velvet covered board that fits snug in the care and use elastic and upholstery tacs to hold them in snuggly. I'll try to post a picture of one of mine.

Collectall,
I made a large one for you a couple of years ago. What is the size your looking for (OAL of the knife?) I may have one (depending on how cheap you mean :) ) Send me a PM and we'll discuss it.

Re: New Italians with NO SAFETY?!

I leave my stilettos in my cases and carry one of my many Leverlettos. I've never had a problem with a leverlock.

Re: Nut and Bolt Assembly

Viking45,
I think "Tank" has his own version of pin setter he sells on S/D that you put in a drill press. It looks like it would work pretty good for what you need. I think he has one on there now.

Re: Help

Calabrese, just for future reference I have several in my collection where the Frank B. is very faint. They are NOT knockoffs. Frank B.s are notorius for a light tang stamp.

Re: Display cases

When weather permitting (not to cold--not to hot). I guess I'm getting old. I have a shop also and have built cases for several people on S/D. I know Rick, Barbara and several others have some of my work. I usually use Oak, Maple and Cherry because those woods are easier to come by where I liv...

AKC Stamp?

A friend who has some physical handycaps has asked me to post and sell some knives for him and one of those is a AKC stiletto. I haven't bought one in a while and the tang stamp looks funny to me. I know they were having issues a while back with phony duplicates. The stamp on this one has the knife ...

Re: question to (Reserve Price Not Met) Sharperdeals!

I'd be real careful about any questions I ask PP on anything pertaining to knives. Would'nt want the ole account frozen. :( That's just my opinion.
