Re: The Royals visit East Boston’s Piers Park

Right you are John, it is Bremen Street Park. I also remember going past Santarpios. I'll let you know when/if I'm back in your area. Pre-covid, I travelled every week, now I work from home.

I have some French switchblades and none have issues. My favorite is the Begon in the photo in the link to the Blade Pictures section below. It is not mint, but is still quite nice, and I like the screw design for the pivot.

Re: New Hubertus

Glad to read that it is well made. Bill D disassembled one shortly after the Otter produced models became available and noted the one piece backspring / kickspring. I read later that Otter was moving to the traditional 2 piece design. What does yours have? Thanks,

Re: Latama's New Offerings

It appears that Walt's knives have approached, and in some cases exceeded the prices of the superb custom Sardinian switchblades.

OK - I'll state what most of us know. Exceptional quality custom stilettos are available from various artisans. With at least some of these, there is no concern with counterfeits or hit and miss quality.

Agreed, beautiful set. Regarding the scale types, I remember reading about the manufacturing process for "pinecone resin". Yours looks very attractive.

Re: More room

Sounds interesting, if you do go with a metal building, what would you use for the floor? Poured concrete?

Re: GOM Switchblade Lever Knives

My understanding is that many of the Italian leverlocks with the various common stamps were also made by GOM.

A Mt. Zoomie 4th of July shooting festival sounds like a fun 4th to me. Plus, I understand a side benefit is the ability to view all the Mt. Zoomie cuties.

Re: Mini STILETTO Italy PicLock NEW

Those are fun little knives, I have a couple just like the one on the photo, and have stated that they are the fastest firing switchblades in my collection. I store them next to my 18in stiletto in my knife chest - the long and short of it...

Re: Remembering Al

Thank you for posting this, Tom. Back in 2000 when I found the predecessor to this forum Al was one of the folks that patiently furthered my switchblade education. He also was one who pushed my interest (along with Bill D.) toward leverlocks. Originally I thought leverlocks were ugly and clunky, how...
