Re: The Passing of Pete Wehs aka Tequiza

WOW - so sad to read this. Many fond memories of time with Pete at BLADE and on the forums. He never let me live down the time at a BLADE show when I accidently picked up his beer (after some of that legendary smallfoot moonshine) and finished it. What a great guy and so many conversations about swi...

Re: More info on my dads Hubertus?

Sorry to read about your dad. I believe the tang stamped Hubies were made from 1955 - 1972. After that, the blades were etched.

A neighbor of mine owns one of them and the brewmaster is a relative of his who was trained in Ger...

Re: Imitation Horn

Mayberry crime update: The wild women have been quite busy with the usual stuff; drunk driving, resisting arrest, failure to appear, shoplifting etc., but none of the really entertaining stuff. I'll keep an eye on the local paper for something more interesting.

Re: It was 30 years ago today

Furcs - no great story on how I acquired it - just bought from another collector. It is a flawless example. Roccomo - yes, that was the theme for the title, you may remember that 10 years ago I posted the same photos and titled the thread with the more appropriate "It was 20 years ago today" Tom - t...

Re: New Mago (of Italy) OTF Knives.

I agree with Bill, a knife designed and made in China and marked as such is fair play, and if I liked it I would buy it. I just have a problem with counterfeit anything.
