Re: Roofing Tales Of Madness..

Sir Wallace,

AS always, your roofing tales result in a hearty chuckle from me.

Re: Gold Japanese guardless stiletto

I don't think I have ever seen one of those in any size or scale. Are they that uncommon or did I just miss them?

Thanks,

Re: Al Sweeney Has Passed

David - I can't answer your question from personal experience- I catch fish and I eat fish, but I also catch and release fish. However, I do know folks who enjoy fishing for what it is, but do not like to eat fish. I just have to relate another of what I consider to be a classic Al line. The subject...

Re: Al Sweeney Has Passed

Sad news indeed! As I mentioned before Al was an important part of my early switchblade education coming up on 20 years ago. I purchased some knives from Al when he was a seller and I have in front of me right now an Italian leverlock with the coveted "Vagrant Knives" stamp on the blade. I was think...

Re: Imitation Horn

Well Sammy, we may have a little action here in the fine little town, but nothing like what goes on the cities. My colleagues who live in big cities often don't believe me when I tell them about what low level "crimes" actually get printed in the local newspaper (published a whopping 3 days per week...

Re: Imitation Horn

Well Sammy, it has been more of the boring same. Failure to appear, minor drug offenses, speeding, drunk driving etc. There was one case called "affray" which I learned from a friend was a situation where a woman confronted her ex-boyfriends new girlfriend and an affray resulted in blood being spill...

Re: Very old BOKER 712

Steel looking bolsters and a bottom bolster on a 712 are something I have never seen. I'm curious as to the actual history and wish I had something to contribute here. Based on what I know, it sure seems like a very early model or a prototype

Re: JimBrown257 Aeriel type pocket knife

Very nice and a custom as well! I have always liked that style and have one of the Schrade reproductions that Sharperdeal Bob brokered 10 years ago or so. Came close to buying an original several times but never snagged one.

Good points guys. I have noticed that the requests from the various companies all refer to open and not concealed carry.

Good luck guys! I certainly understand your motivation. I've been working some in Mass. again and see the politics and the frustration of folks like you with the state. I'm in Cambridge so you know what I see.
