Re: Unknown Swinguard
DonC: thanks for the info. I will start checking SD now that I know about it. Previously I thought AKCs were only on Bladeplay or 3knives, and I didn't the the Medici by them before.

Re: Butterfly repair or parts question
I haven't tried locking compound, but I think I tried crazy glue in the past. However, swinging this thing around as much as I do causes the screws to loosen and fly across the room. I'd like to find rivets that fit so that it would be fixed permanently.

Re: Unknown Swinguard
You all are very knowledgeable about old switchblades. I don't know anything about the name brands, I just used to look for them at flee markets and stuff like that.

Butterfly repair or parts question
I have this digi butterfly that I really like the look of, but it is put together with screws that constantly come loose and fall out - causing the knife to fall apart. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the screws with rivets so that it will hold together, and if so, where can I buy rive...

Gunner/Sicboy13,
Your knives are beautiful. I have never seen one without goofy writing on them saying things on it. Please PM or email me where you ordered them from.

Re: Unmarked Rizzuto
The knife looks awesome. How is the quality? I hear people say that rizzuto's were fairly cheaply made, but I have never owned anything other than Korean Swinguards or more recently a AKC Swinguard. There is a huge difference in quality between the AKC and the Korean. I am thinking about looking for...

Re: AKC OTF: good or bad?
I like the AKC OTFs better than the old Nato Military ones I had as a kids, but I also like the Lightning OTFs at bladeplay. I've since Benchmark OTFs that are several hundred dollars, but I don't know if I would trust an OTF for anything other than opening boxes and things like that anyways.

Re: Bell OTF
I have one of those too. It is made very cheaply, but it always fires and locks. I don't think it has ever not functioned perfectly, but I wouldn't try to cut anything with it. I just open and close it endlessly, like I do with my butterfly knives.
