PRADEL Identity
Any idea if this is one of the many companies that reproduced this style of knife ? I think it had a bale originally...but not sure . I tried researching it , and get conflicting information on what the originals look like and what year it was made , and whether the boat anchor on it is correct or m...

Pradel knife info. ?
From what I've researched this knife might be a reproduction or the real thing. It's either French or English made . Some research shows that the boat anchor makes it real. Some says it makes it fake. Anyone know ? The guy I bought it from claims it should be worth more than $300.00. I paid $30.00 f...

Re: I just ordered a Buck Impact (Model 898).
Thanks for posting that.Since it's Bucks first auto I will be ordering two of them, one to display and one to put away. I have 17 Bucks ,mostly limited edition fixed blades, The quality for the price is hard to beat for an American made knife. It's a good solid company with great ethics.

New to this question
I bought this with a handful of traditional older pocket knives for ten bucks. I'm new to automatics and switchblades. It says STILETTO over ITALY on the tang . I suspect it's just kind of a cheapee, it does snap open good, a little wobble both directions when open. It's 7.5" long, never been sharpe...

Re: Never sell knives?
I'll never sell the Colonial four blade Forest Master my Dad gave me about a year ago when I started to seriously collect knives again...l'm not sure but I think it might be the same one I bought for myself wheni was about 13 and somehow it ended up in his dresser drawer for years. Someday I'll be o...
