Would be a great user in the field aswell with that 1084 carbon blade .

Billyfish That knife was made in Italy for the German market.The kissing cranes logo is on one I have very similar to your example but many German firms like Horster ,Herbertz ,Gustav Branner and other marks can be found. Absolute beauty kwackster. I wish I would have acquired one of these many moons ago as they are becoming quite expensive where I can shop. Very similar to the Fairbairn Sykes Commando dagger with slight changes ...the squashed diamond and slightly different hilt. I always thought these had stainless...

Sammy Coldsteel knives I have had are always razor sharp and ready for use. Those are some sharp blades by cold steel I have the R1 Combat classic and in the 90s I had a Katz tanto with ivory micarta grip....great knives you have mate.
