I have a 10 1/2" Latama passed down from my dad. I know it is at least pre 1960. What features would I be looking at to better determine its correct era?

I have a similar looking knife I inherited from my dad. It is marked "Latama" and I know it is pre-1960 because my I remember my dad carrying it in the early 60's and he said he got it during the Korean War.
