thanx, im happy with that quality of steel, but the price is a bit high, i was looking at getting myself a fishing knife and noticed the lack of nicely finished filleting style blades, most have a very utilitarian plastic/rubberised handle which is practical, but a nice piece of our NZ native hardwo...

not after incredible quality, just reasonable stainless steel.
filleting and boning styles preferred.

il tell you one thing, its a bloody good design, but its only stainless, and fairly soft, doesnt hold an edge well, bought it off an oriental fellow who was selling knives out of a suitcase under a bridge for $20nzd it was part of $50 the cops gave me after they beat up a bunch of punkrockers includ...

heh, im starting to see how out of my depth i am here, i guess it was misleading when i said ive messed around making fixed blades, all ive done is trim/sharpen saw blades and put new handles on old blades... furthermore while ive always had folding knives i dont know stuff all about them, and hones...
