Re: Hubertus Tang Stamps and Etchings
Old post but no replies....The "W" (West Germany) makes the knife more desirable IMO. The file work is the standard file work that Hubertus put on some of their knives. Some collectors like it; Some not as much. Normally, I don't care for file work on some knives...such as Italian Stilettos. This fi...

Re: My favorite shellpullers
A friend gave me this Inox Wandy unfortunately the spring is broken. I have no idea how to fix it. You have Nice Friends!! :D I noticed this was an old post and you probably have this knife fixed by now. If not, contact Bill DeShivs. EDIT: Disregard. I saw the other thread about this knife. :)

I saw the one you just had listed and also Robert V. has one for sale on AAPK. Some of these knives you don't see for months and all of a sudden there are multiple pieces available. Thanks for heads up.

Re: old frosolone? pick lock knife
I don't post here much but have been around for a long time. First of all, it's a very decent example. From the pictures you posted and from the info so far on here, my guess would be the value to be between $900 and $1200 as the blade appears to be slightly down. I agree with an earlier post that t...

Re: Finding knives in England
Its definitely getting much harder to collect in the UK I feel I am now being hounded by the police since my last stoppage. Look at this for a letter and threat I received a few days ago.Never seen one of this type before and I havnt even bought a switchblade since their last visit ,or never been s...

Re: First picklock & I am disappointed
I think they meant to say "Blade sharpened, a little left". I wouldn't have a replacement blade made for that. Having a new blade made kind of defeats the purpose of buying a vintage knife. And you'd end up paying about as much as you'd pay for a different picklock. As for the bug bite, that is not...
