WOW awesome find man :) im the guy who made them Black Beauty magnets around 20 years ago . i myself have looked all over everywhere for a stamped original Black Beauty picklock (auto version) for over 20 years they are super hard to find in any condition . again Awesome find One just listed on SD.

Do the liners have a cut out guards? Yes, each liner has a recessed area that extends to just below where the guards rest. You can just see it in the close-up photo above. The make, I think was Del Tim. The back of the blade has a small, but deep 'Brevet.' on the tang, as you can see in this photo:
