Re: Are all BM 42's the same?

Sorry about this folks. I forgot say "clones". Are all of the *clones* made in the same place and by the same manufacturer?

Re: My 10" AGA Campolin Fishtail Picklock arrived today.

Give the button a good hard, sharp push. My three Campolinis will do the same thing if i push the button softly or slowly. I'm glad that you like the knife though. Now don't go buying up all of the Campolinis. Leave some for me. :-)

Re: For Bernie

LOL. I know that *now*. Bernie and I finally made contact and our trade was completed today. I got a nifty new 11" Campolin pick lock stiletto with beautiful horn. A really nice addition to my Campolin pick lock collection. BTW, I received the knife just two working days after we agreed to the ...

Re: Seeking info on a couple of INOX knives.

I have a 13" pick lock marked *exactly* the same way as yours. "M. Italy Inox" in an oval. I have no idea who made it, but it's interesting to know that it must be pretty old if the one you have belonged to your grandfather.

Re: Speaking of Fishtails...

If my last two pick lock orders are any indication, I doubt that you'll have a problem with a Campolin from Blade Play. My two 11" stilettos fire fine and are still very tight, with no movement at all after firing them several times. From now on it's going to be pick locks for me all the way! I...

For Bernie

I'm trying to reply to your PM, but the message is sitting in my outbox without being sent, so the answer to your question is: Yes, I want to trade if the knife your offering is new, or hasn't been played with much. I don't why this is happening, but you can reply to me right here. You already have ...

Re: What's the deal with Fishtails?

Bobby C. must be ancient. I'm 71 years old, and by the time I was old enough to want to carry a knife for anything beside playing "stretch" and carving my name in stuff, switchblades had virtually disappeared form the streets of NYC. The cops shook us down for no other reason but that it ...

Nice collection. Where did you get the display box. Mine's too small for my collection.

Why is it so hard to find this knife?

When I was a kid I only had one switchblade. It looked like a Shur Snap, or one of the other brands of the same type of carded knife. I'd like to find another one, but it seems impossible to get exactly the same color. I have one in yellow, and i've seen several in other colors, but not in this same...

I Love My AGA Campolin Pick Locks

The first new switchblade that I bought in over 20 years was a Frank Beltrame 11" swing bolster, and after only a few fires the blade began to loosen. Not horribly, but enough to be noticeable. The second one that I bought was an new AGA Campolin 11" pick lock, and this baby is *tight* aft...
