I had forgot you could pull the blade out to shut. I thought you had to pull it from the back.

I can't wait!

If I remember right, you can look in the liners and see if it has a spring that runs front to back. Maybe that is bound up or broke and wont release the tab. When you pull back the ring can you feel spring tension?
There really isn't much too these knives (if I remember correctly).

After looking at the Ebay linked knives I know do remember the CUMOSO stamp.

I have owned a couple over the years. Kind of a gadget knife imo. Most of them I see are stamped Pastor Aleman and originally came with a leather "strap/lace" to pull to open. I think someone added the ring on yours.
