Try pressing the lever quickly and firmly when opening the knife. I’ve noticed that if I don’t press down hard and quick sometimes the blade doesn’t open all the way.

Another thing and I know it sounds stupid but make sure you are pushing the lever down firmly. Leverlocks like a firm squeeze to open fully.

Bill is way off....There are 42 knives there. They are atleast worth $50 bucks a piece. 42 X $50 = $2100 dollars and that isn't even factoring the cards.

Yeah, if it doesn't pop open the spring is missing or broke. You should be able to look in the blade well and either see the broken spring or the slot where it should be.
