Correction- I meant a typical solid pin for the blade pivot and not a what most of us call a rivet.

When you take that button side scale off the safety will be attached to the scale. You may have to bend it slightly to remove it from the scale slot. The scale will come straight off easily and you will see how the safety works. If I get a chance during the day I will post a picture.

I sure hope you didn't buy the knife you posted the link to...That is a major rip off imo.
