Re: fake Hubertus? Italian style swivel bolster stiletto

I can still see one of the pics (the blade) but the rest just are a circle with a minus sign (-).

I don't remember these with this color scales either. Much cooler than the more normal solid colors. 8)

Re: Broken shur snap

I'm thinking that must be rescaled if it is real horn.
When it is closed can you pull the blade up to see if it will "peek" under spring pressure? If it does come up above liners you might want to skip putting in a spring.

Re: No bottom bolsters?

Search Frosolone and you should find quite a few. There have even been some recently produced...http://www.agacampolin.com/frosolone.html

Re: Making an offer on a non offer auction?

I never have but I'm sure it happens all the time. I have also heard of a few collectors that have "reported" auctions to get them pulled and then tried to turn around and buy the knife privately from the seller...Dirt bag tactic in my opinion but there are some who will do some under hand...

Re: Blade not opening all the way

Make sure you push the lever down firmly and completely with a tight grip. I carry a leverlock regularly and almost everyone I show the knife too fails to open the knife on the first try because they gingerly push it like a regular push button knife.
