otf knives diagrams, drawings, etc. ..

Post by willows »

Hello everyone, I just joined your wonderful forum and I take this opportunity now to ask a polite courtesy:

someone has the plans, drawings, etc. .. OTF knives? ?
or maybe you can tell me where to find them?

I'm a big fan of knives, especially the OTF and Italian stilettos

Thank you

Welcome to TalkBlade, neighbor!
I'm sure someone here could help with this one.
Of course, your could always take a few apart and draw a few sketches for the rest of us

You're wrong,
I'm looking for patterns OTF knives, as I enjoy building the craft knife, and I'm just trying to build a knife otf ....

I assure you that I have no economic purpose or anything like that ....

I suggest you buy an inexpensive otf and take it apart and try to make one of your own using it as an example.

I think Assisted Knife will send to some countries in the EU. :)
Here is a link to a relatively inexpensive OTF that is easy to take apart:
http://www.assistedknife.com/index.cfm/ ... /id/425013
I know Key West will send to any country in the world. 8)
Here is a link to a cheap OTF with a different mechanism that you could take apart:
http://www.keywestknifeworks.com/8daoutfrkn.html
They also have a video showing the inside of an OTF:

Hello Willows,
please ask your question in your own language. I will attempt to translate. My wife speaks fluent German and a little Dutch, and I know some Italian and Greek.
I'm having trouble understanding what this means:
but can not find anyone on the network pattern of these knives? :?:
I think you are saying:
Is it true that no one on this web-forum has a pattern of these knives drawn out?
If you are stating that you are surprised that no one here has built their own OTF --I do not know of anyone here or on other forums who've successfully built an OTF. You could be the first!
If you are in the EU, try http://www.KnifeShop.com -They have many switchblade knives from all over the world. If they do not have the OTF you are looking for, email the operators of the site. They are very kind and willing to help anyone.
all the best,
Free

Hello and Welcome Willows,
Good luck with your OTF project. This is a great forum. There is a lot of information about knives here; this is, "The web's most friendly community on knives and blades." At times it may seem to be very unfriendly but that's because we are very protective of our forum and some members have very strong ethical and moral opinions which is to be respected.
We agree to disagree.
Thank you for becoming a member and when you have a chance please post a photo of your favorite OTF or if you have more than one of your favorite OTF's.
John
Your friend on the web's most friendly community on knives and blades,
John

Thanks to all for replies and for the kindness shown to me: wink:

are still topped by the job, I'm building a different folding knives and fixed blade knife.
When I have time I will start the construction of an OTF knife, definitely will post some pictures of work

Good luck, like everyone said buy a cheap one (there are many, lightning, tomb raider, etc) and take it apart you will be very surprised how simply they work. I have considered building one from scratch. Maybe in the future!
