Al and Teddy are spot on!I hope the photos help you understand the workings.Added advantage of a loud racheting knife is the fear it evokes.Somthing like the sound of a pump action shotgun lets you know when it's time to leave! Cheers the spotlight kid.
A CARROT IS AS CLOSE AS A RABBIT GETS TO A DIAMOND!
I found this on worldknives. Description on site.
The 907 E is a big knife measuring 5 1/2" closed, 9 1/4" open and having a blade length of 4 1/8." It has a unique locking mechanism reminiscent of the traditional clasp knife with a pull ring release. It also rachets open in several positions so it won't snap closed on your hand.

The Okapi is only really secure on the final two ratchet stops the rest just sound cool but don't really lock it. An interesting knife to have in the collection but no need to have an entire collection of them.Razor_54 wrote:I found this on worldknives. Description on site.

The ratchet locks the blade in place. They also sound cool when they lock.padz wrote:what is the main purpose of that ratchet knives?Wanna know and curious.quicksnap wrote:Can anyone tell me about the inner workings of a ratchet knife? And what the point is of having it. Thanks
