just saying, you can not sell with only 1 post, you need to read the rules.

It's defenitely a golden era 50's picklock allthough I don't think it's a Latama. It lacks two of the specific Latama traits that being a fat backspring and a bevel near the searhole.

Looks like the "box" stamped Latama to me.

Then I apologise. I don't have all the wisdom.

I didn't buy it. There are people who scan the forums looking for deals.

Re: Latama 11inch pick lock 1950s
Guys, I'm not seeing the issue with this post. Tyler was looking for advice on pricing his knife and showing it off. I did the same exact thing with my Rizzy's and Medici when I first joined this forum. Nobody said anything negative about it. Multiple members complimented my blades and a couple of knowledgeable gents provided their honest appraisals, which informed my pricing when I eventually had my time in and the required post count fulfilled. That was my main purpose for joining - that and finding a shell puller of my own. In the meantime I actively participated in the forums and got to know some kind, decent, and generous people. I've seen some strife and been involved in some unnecessary drama myself but overall this is a friendly place to discuss our passion for things sharp and pointy.I really enjoy this forum, but it feels to me like it might be dying. I'd hate to see that happen. I come on here and I see very few users online and large numbers of guests visiting. I think we need to encourage people to join and not reprimand new members when they haven't actually broken a real rule. Tyler may have left the forum and I don't think he caused any harm. That's no way to keep the forum active and thriving if you ask me, which I'm aware nobody did. All the same, it needed to be said. I'll be very sad if this good thing goes away.
