Ramon Springer

Now restored. Let's see, first I got many of the dings and marks out of the bolsters where it was used as a hammer over the years, made a new kickspring and this thing fires like a rocket! On the front side the top scale had a chip by the front pin so I patched that in, then the lower scale was a replacement of jigged black celluloid so after and hour of digging through my bucket of old broken bone handles from other knives I found a greenish brown bone handle that matched color nicely but the jigging was totally worn out of the bone so a little dremel work replicated the jigging in the original handle on he springer and I fit it down for the springer, then after fixing the peeking I then cleaned everything up. Nice tight old knife, still amazed at how hard it fires. Harder than any of my hubies, guess I finally got the temper right (after 5 tries :? )

Very nice, and we don't see that tang stamp very often. In fact, I have never seen it.
