Here are some pictures of two of the three autos in Sly Stallone's new Bullet to the Head: a Microctech Halo V (I think) and one of the Spydercos. Dont know how well the pics will come thru, but I will post them

Re: Movie Switchblades
Just saw Sean Penn's Gangster Squad. One of the detectives is pretty handy with an Italian auto stiletto
Re: Movie Switchblades
I spotted one in an episode of The Rifleman with Akim Tamiroff... He's pulling the dangerous heavy act, sitting around peeling an apple with it.
I walked a mile in my enemy's shoes.... And then I stole his shoes.

Re: Movie Switchblades
I just saw this film tonight, great film, a bit on the avant-garde side to say the least, but glad I saw it.

Re: Movie Switchblades
I wish I could recall the names of the films, but in at least two of the Noir Films I have seen in the last few months one of the characters carries a switchblade, which by what I could tell at the time were of American make. Both characters were played by Elisha Cook Jr.

E.C. Jr. has some kind of knife in House on Haunted Hill. It was tough to get a good look at it though.TomcatPC wrote:Both characters were played by Elisha Cook Jr.

Of course, that isn't really any sort of noir film. He was in a lot of gangster/crime movies so he probably had a stiletto several times.

I did a search but couldn't find it. Has Last House On The Left (1972) been mentioned?
There was a small stiletto with the "down-turned" guards.
There was an OTF in Wanted: Dead or Alive(1987) Rutger Hauer
