What did I miss?
I was semi-active on this board about five years ago. Haven't been back except to lurk occasionally. At that time, the Leverletto was hot news. I'm sure a lot has happened in the intervening years . . .
So, what did I miss? What new "must-have" knives have hit the scene in the past five years? Tell me about the trends. If you had to name the five best new switches under $200 what would your list include? How about the best under $100?
And yes, I spent some time looking over recent threads, but a summary would be appreciated.

Just one more and I'll stop . . . honest!

A.G.A. Campolin has some pieces between $90 and $220 that are just plain awesome:
The Camper Ring-Pull
The Camper Oval Button
The Camper Humpback
The Catalanas (any size)
(new) The Lockback Stiletto
The Fish Autos (any size)
Walt/Frank B. (*New Latamas) has some pieces between $150 and $400 that are very nice:
5mm 9" Stilettos (Limited Ed. -all numbered)
5mm 11" Stilettos
5mm 11" Picklock Stilettos
EDC-wise, I recommend Piranha Knives USA. Prices are reasonable for the customer service and the quality of their work. Prices can very from $90-$400 depending on if you're into side-openers or OTFs.
Bodyguard
Minniguard
The Pocket
The Fingerling
The Excalibur
The Amazon
The Shadow
Let us know what you end up going for.

We lost Pushbutton, Teddy, and The Spotlight Kid; both Tiny and Tiny Jr. have also passed away.
Many new knives, a few controversies, and cybertrolls which we slaughtered by the dozens on some days.
Lots of new members, and some who just don't seem to be around much any more.
Good to see you back!
Tom

Hello and Welcome Back Blade Switcher,
When you have a chance take a look at Buy and Sell plus Blade Pictures for lots of great knives. You can get a good feel for what is hot and what is not.
Also, would you post a photo of your favorite knife or knives. I love a good photo.
John

I don't have a bunch of photos of my knives, but here's a few (I think you'll tell, I'm also a gun guy):john wrote: Also, would you post a photo of your favorite knife or knives. I love a good photo.

I LOVE the solid thwack of my Buck 110 conversion:
Here's a Leveretto (I still have the knife but sold the gun):
Here's a drawer full of lever locks (I like levers). Somewhere I have photos of some of the other drawers, but I don't know where those pics are . . . :

Re: What did I miss?
Mr.Blade Switcher- I have been around for a couple of years now, heck I even conned these guys into making me a mod.
I do not recall seeing any of your posts but I must say I love the "Smitty's" and your Buck.
Love that drawer full of levers, I spy a couple Hubie Cigars in there
The place has changed a lot but we still strive to make this the best place to show off our blades and talk about our knife passion.
Welcome back and please- Visit more often and tell us about your latest knives.
Take care and come back as soon as you can.
Dave

Re: What did I miss?
I found a couple more photos . . . I shot these a couple of years ago. I'll try to get some photos shot of some of my newer stuff soon . . .
Here's a cheezy S&W OTF clone with a S&W 3913 pistol . . . .
Here's a swinguard with an FN High-Power . . .
Here's a Hubertus lever lock with a S&W 686 . . . the elusive three-inch barreled CS-1 version . . . not a particularly good photo of either the knife or the gun . . .
Here's an Italian leverlock with a S&W Model 36 . . . maybe you can tell I'm fond of Smith and Wesson revolvers . . . .
