Bonsa's

Post by s_witchblade »

Hi Bill,
I have here two Bonsa knives . Can you tell me what is the significance of the different stampings on the back tang for them . They are stamped differently . Is one an older stamping than the other . Just wondering .

Thanks for any help .

I know the "soccer" stamp was used from at least the 1970s intil 1982, but I don't know if it was used exclusively. I would think the "rostfrei" stamping is the earlier one. Is one knife more yellow than the other? Older Bonsa pieces are nickel plated. Later ones are chromed.
