My roof was around triple what I paid for shingles the first time I had my house roofed but that was over 20 years ago. The metal roof is guaranteed to never leak unless damaged and I don't see this contractor going out of business like the company who shingled my roof, which leaked. People asked why I didn't do the garage too, the garage doesn't leak!

Hi Bill,
Maybe you can have the roofers do something like this. How about an Italian stiletto?
