need work done on my switchblade
Hello all, I have a japanese made lever lock switchblade where the blade does not stay fully locked into the handle when closed. it locks and opens like it should but the blade opens just enough for the tip to be exposed in resting closed position. I live in oakland california and would like to find someone close by but of course realize i will probably have to send it to someone. any one that can help please message.

Re: need work done on my switchblade
I could be wrong,
the bottom bolster looks square like a 1980's Edge Co Japanese Knife.
Does it have a "Slip-in" spring ?
I have one with lighter wood . . . .and mine "peeks out" also.
but not as much, because I rarely close it. It's been in a shoebox for 20 years.
