Drawing

Post by Viking45 »

Hey guys,it's been a while since we have seen a drawing and I want to do a little something for my friends here.
Most of you know the Bass Pro Shop originated here in Springfield and I thought I'd have a drawing for a nice Bass Pro ball cap.
Let me know if you prefer an all fabric or mesh back cap.
I'll keep it simple,I'll just draw a number between 1-15. Good Luck fellers 8)

I don't think there are even 20 members that come down here so I changed it to 15 instead of 20.

There are, but several only check in periodically. Should we reopen the floodgates for the many faces of Nemo?

That's cool Tom,it sounds kind of weird- a Bass pro in New York City

As for hats,I always go too long between hair cuts so I am guilty of wearing a ball cap sometimes.

The one we are opening is in Nassau County which is JUST outside of the city line. Nassau/Suffolk counties ( the two on Long Island that are NOT part of the city) have some of the best ocean fishing around and lots of folks with high house hold incomes...The highest grossing Dicks Sporting Goods is two miles from where this Bass Pro will open....Should do well!

I saw an interesting story about NYC and it focused on the waters and fishing of the area.
It spoke of how people from all walks of life come together to fish, tell stories and share tricks they have learned.
Very touching actually when you see all ages, all races, rich and poor side by side.

Two elderly men one wealthy one poor met once a week to fish the same spot for over 40 years rain or shine (except winter of course) and they would have coffee and/or brown bag lunch and spent hours fishing.
It surprised me how many thousands of inner city people that fish some for sport some for food so yes I can see how a Bass Pro would do well.
