Why We Love the Media

In the aftermath of the Asiana Flight 214 crash at SFO last week, the media was in full hue and cry to see who could "out scoop" the others. A local independent TV station, KTVU, somehow obtained the names of the four pilots of the aircraft. They supposedly cleared the names with the NTSB, but a little more use of common sense, including a simple reading of the names, would have indicated something was wrong (Sum Ting Wong!).

The crash was caused by the pilot looking at a picture on his cell phone of his buddy "Wun Hung Dong" :lol:

What gets me is how butthurt everyone is acting about it. I thought it was funny as hell.
