Mr. Vagrant,

I was going to buy a Star PD when I was still shooting.... but never got round to it.... how does it stand up against the 1911 for accuracy and reliability in your experience ?

Best wishes

On a purely defesive gun my standards are easy to meet;
a - does it work every time Yes
b - can I hit a gallon jug at 25' every time Yes
[a gallon jug is about "kill area" size and 25" is max mugger range]
On a target or hunting gun I'd use a rest and expect more accuracy but for defense those standards are good enough. The .40 shoots a tighter group on a gallon jug.

Why do I think the next revolution against the Crown maybe in "Merry Olde" itself? After giving the world the Magna Carta it seems it no longer applies. The rights and importance of the "common man" seem to be a memory and no longer matter.

Everyone needs at least one .22 pistol [the more the merrier]. Ruger naturally.

It's stainless but this is MY favorite, blued of course but I'd pay real money for one in stainless, [no such thing].

Hey!.... I had one a bit like that..... wonderfully accurate.... came with it's own test-target shot from a "vice" at 50 metres... 5 shots inside 2 inches (WELL inside) ..... great little gun.... and my very first firearm ...... oh happy days..... having it hanging on my bedroom wall was perfectly legal in those halcyon days....
