Rex Trailer was a long time tv personality in boston. haveing a weekend morning show from 1956-1974. also a great humamatarian.

Can't believe I never heard of Rex.
I looked around a bit and the man was amazing. He was a musician,rodeo cowboy,bull rider,trick rider,pilot (had his own helicopter),did rope and bull whip tricks,radio announcer,tv personality etc etc.

Last of a dying breed for certain...and he was from Texas originally.

Yes, he was a legend. I met him once in Boston, a truly gracious gentleman. He will be missed...

When I was a kid [in Day Camp] he used his whip to shred a paper I was holding, It got to the size of a postege stamp before he was done :!:
