Opening Of Barclays Arena Brooklyn, NYC

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

Opening Of Barclays Arena Brooklyn, NYC

Post by Tom19176 »

As some of you know, I manage over 20 shopping malls in NYC, NJ and Philly, but my company also owns and developes many other forms of real estate including hotels, offices buidlings, and military housing.....We did something new and different this week as we opened a new ARENA in NYC !!! It will house the Nets ( which we own with a few others) and many other concerts and events....It was some experience getting it open!!! Just for the record I am 5'9" so you can guess how big my secuirty director is!! He is a present NYPD Warrant Detective and a director of secuirty for my Brooklyn malls....

Thanks Jerr!!! We hired 2,000 workers in the last two months and kept 1,500 construction workers with a pay check for over two years.....We have two of the four Rolling Stones shows booked and 260 days are filled with different events, WWE, Circus, concerts, etc.....It is one bright spot in the slow economy.....

Mr. Tom,

Congratulations on a fine job. Being in the construction business, I admire good construction and project management.

Best regards,

Bonz, Thanks! we also built the NY Times HQ and the Frank Geary Highest Residential building in this hemisphere .....Been a busy few years for us....We build them, and run them...I run the retail operations division with over 5 million sq ft of space ......The Arena was alot of work but also alot of fun, and very different from all else we have done....
