Proposal for Moderator, Poll

Post by Bonzo »

Ladies, Fish, and Gentlemen,

Since there's been an absence of a few Mods here, I hereby propose that Mr. Redeye be nominated for a moderator position to help the Motley Crew banish the evil blue meanies from Pepperland. Mr. Milu has not been here for ages. Mr. Missaman has checked out (RIP) and dwells in the cosmos, and Mr. Corpse is, well, I'll not go there. So, what yall think?

Best regards,

Bonz

Who knows better than a mod who would make a good mod?
If you need help and you think Mr. Redeye is a good choice (and he's WILLING to do it), I'd just say thank you very much, Mr. Redeye . :D

Edit to add: ditto for Mr. Tryker

Definitely include Mr. Tryker.

As for Mr. REDEYE, if he can disable his Caps Lock, I'd say go for it

I personally don't think we need anymore mods. A few good guys working together gets more done easily than many running around like chickens with their heads cut off. As it was last week, 3 or 4 of us were all trying to do the same things at the same time and it was at times a cluster f##k.

What was really needed was more administrative support. Things would have been stopped asap quick in just about every other forum we belong to. It would be nice if there was more interest shown in that department, but after all these years it ain't going to happen. Most of us don't get 50 weeks of vacation a year, and if we did we would probably still check our forums.

If bringing on mods will help, so be it, but I don't really think it will change anything.

PS-
I have nothing against redeye or tryker, I consider them both friends, but it would also be a damn shame if Razor_54 isn't the first person asked. He has been here over 10 years and seems to be fair, helpful, articulate, and know his way around a computer. He also contributes in all areas of the forum. I'm ashamed to say I don't even know his real name, but I think he should definately be considered first.

Mr. Whipper,

Some years back, we had mods in the UK, Italy, and the east & west coasts. There was usually a mod online at any given time. Ideally, it would make sense to try and achieve that coverage once again.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that guy up there in the 51st state. I think it would be a wonderful idea to bring in Mr. Razor.

Best regards,

Bonz
