Initial reaction: Wow, that's cool!

Secondary reaction: How are insects of that size getting into your home?

I heard you have some other critters that are more troublesome down there... non-native mammalian stuff that's been released.

yeah we got some big pythons and lizards but i dont think its as bad as they say it is. I have heard thru the herpetalogical grapevine that when they opened up the hunting season on the big snakes that there were very few captured ,so I guess we will have to wait and see. I am in no way making light of the problem as I do not condone releasing non-native species of any kind be it a giant reptile or even the little half inch Asian clams that are taking over Lake Tahoe .I just read today that they are putting rubber mats on the bottom of tahoe to try and eradicate the clams that were introduced by boaters accidently.I see little mediteranian Ghekkos every night outside mudoor that 15 years ago were never seen this far north.I like em as they eat a ton of bugs but they dont belong here Ill try to get some pics of one soon they areneat. stubby guys kinda flesh toned almost link with big eyes.

I love the lizards in fact I was just lying on my bed watching a show on telivision and I saw something moving and it was a green anole lizard walking accross my legs lol i asked it just what the heck it was doing and it ran up to my face and jumped right on my cheeck and ran up over the top of my head and up the wall and was gone lol i freaked I leave them alone as they do keep the bugs down and they seem to leave my spidrs alone too.I like them as bug control also.

These secretive little guys are most likely to come out AFTER a rain - but this one "got a head-start" and came out, while it was raining
