This is an extract from a book. Does the plight of White Zimbawean farmers get any attention in the American media? I've never seen it in Europe and only infrequently in the UK, I was only familiar with it because I had some Rhodesian friends at University and we stayed in touch.

It is not limited to Zimbabwe but, exists [in varying degrees] in most former african colonies

The plight of the white man in America has been totally dumbed down. We are basically 3rd class citizens. Hollywood portrays the white male as a dimwitted, illinformed, senseless idiot in sitcoms, movies, and commercials. It's an everyday thing on the telly. One commercial that sets the standard for the dumb-ass white husband is where the wifey walks in the door to find her husband painting socks on himself and son. Of course she has a package of real socks in her shopping bag to make hubby look like a total complete moron. This is the American media mindset.

Every statement made here is true. If any realism was put into affect it would be that the "white" man has to pay on a daily basis for the faults of our ancestors.
As a caucasian I feel we are being manipulated and downgraded at every turn.
The African race is FAR older than thee America's and yet we are the "bad guy" and has been done wrong by many others,Spanish,Dutch,English,French...
Do you hear the "true" Native American's belly-aching? Not so much.

If we offered to allow all African-Americans to go back to their war-torn,impoverished continent of Africa...how many would go?
My guess would be not many.

We dropped bombs on Japan but how often are Japanese in the news complaining?
How often are Indians(India) complaining?
How often are Iraqi,Afghanis,Kuwaitis,Vietnamese,Cambodians,Germans,Russians,Jews,Spanish,etc etc complaining about America?

No offense meant but when the Los Angeles police officers were filmed during the Rodney King incident,African Americans burned LA to the ground. "Hence" the number one reason Orenthal James Simpson was aquitted for his hanus crimes because LA could not take another massive riot.
I think the "catering" time is over and treat each person accordingly.

Perhaps if we stop sitting around eating cheeseburgers and get off our fat arses and make some sh*t happen then maybe,just maybe we can be taken seriously again in the public/world's eye.

I am almost to the point where I am going to stop blaming someone else and take a long hard look in the mirror. I only hope other American's do the same.
