BILLY POWELL keyboard player extroidinaire has died at age 56. he is famous for being the keyboard player for the southern rock and roll band LYNERD SKYNERD he was one of my all time faves too. he will be missed a lot. he died of an apparent heart attack at around 3a.m. wed 1-28-09

i was just reading that, :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: i went to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert once it was awesome. its a shame that billy powell is dead. :cry: :cry:

That is a shame...I've seen them up here a couple times and they put on a fantastic show.

Billy Powell was a great piano player, one of my heroes as an aspiring young rock & roll keyboard player. His piano solos in "Call Me the Breeze" and "I Know a Little" are classics. R.I.P. Billy. :cry:
