ProTech Large Don tuxedo
Finally found a ProTech Large Don with a plain stainless blade, a tuxedo model. Apparently, large Dons haven't been made for a while and as of earlier this year they weren't on the ProTech production schedule for 2024. It is large for a ProTech, just under 10 1/2 inches open. It is quite the wrist shaker, no surprise given its size and that it is a ProTech coil spring fired knife.

Jim, I remember when that Knife debuted years ago, it was an immediate sensation which appeared on many covers of many Knife/Blade magazines, and the limited edition of your knife was also the winner of the 2010 Knife magazine Award for ProTech’s investor/collector Knife of the year and only 10 were made. I always love the tuxedo addition and you’re right it is a really hard snapping coil spring. I hope Allen will chime in as he has some rare examples. Congratulations Jim…

That's a beauty and I thought about buying one of those a few years ago but it may have been the smaller one. I have the tuxedo Godson.

Those are so pointy I know the first thing I would do is jab myself or drop it and break the tip.
Re: ProTech Large Don tuxedo
Yes Terry, it has a very sharp tip. I like ProTech's mafia themed models, Godfather, Godson, Don, and all of mine arrived extremely sharp and pointy. Caution must be exercised when handling.

Beautiful ProTech! Their action is super crisp, I love the way they fire.
