FB/AB collection

Post by stiletto39 »

After acquiring some new FB's, and a new display box, I got a chance to re-organize all of these together.. Just thought I would share the end result.. Enjoy!

I got the case from a gentleman named Terry, eBay username: sheazbro. He hand makes each case, and has quite a few size selections.. The case pictured is 12X24X2. After receiving it, you can really tell that the craftsmanship is very good on it.. Front latches lock, and all the joints are a nice tight fit. The inside is padded with a thin layer of foam, and then the supplied colored felt sits on the foam..

I trimmed the foam thinner because it was making the knives sit too high inside, and when I closed the lid, the glass was depressing all of the firing buttons. So now, they are just the right height to where the glass just touches the buttons enough to hold the knives in place in the felt, without pushing them down too hard..

I solved that problem by setting the safeties on. That way the buttons are depressed but the knives are firmly places so the display can be hung on the wall with no movement of the cutlery. I don't have an electric carving knife either
