New folder in my collection
Lockback, damascus blade (512 layers), desert ironwood scales, titanium liners + backspring. About 4 inches closed.

Great folder, David! Really like it! Beautiful damascus blade! Looks very useful, too
Great pics too!

Re: New folder in my collection
Nice one David, that desert ironwood looks great and really resembles cocobolo. The damascus goes real well with it and it looks like a nicely finished backspring. Great score.

Very nice David!!!
Re: New folder in my collection
I am glad you like it. The knife was made by Czech knifemaker who lives only about 50 miles from me. I handled his knives for the first time 2 months ago on local knife show and was surprised by their quality. More pictures here: http://www.halfarknives.cz/documents/56.html. BTW he also took the pictures - not me

Re: New folder in my collection
I like this knife very much Simple but very functional. One question, maybe I'm not seeing it, is there a nail nick to open it? or do you just grab the blade?

Re: New folder in my collection
No nail nick - works just fine without it.
Re: New folder in my collection
I love the simplicity of design and really like that there is no nail nick or thumbstud.
The liners look quite hefty with thinner scales, another very nice feature.
Beautiful knife
