Boker speed lock and top locks

Are all the speed lock/top lock and II's made from aluminium?
My new 701 is getting marked real easy as my EDC.
I was thinking about a Black top lock II.
Does anyone use one as an EDC and do they mark easily?

If memory serves me [that's a big "If"] plastic and carbon fiber have been/are available.

There is a black plastic (Derlon?) Speedlock available. They turn up on BA and knifeshop frequently. I have handled one and I thought it was pretty cheesey for the price.
