Yet another Addition to the Talkblade Forum

Post by McGyver »

Just want to introduce myself. My name is Mike (McGyver) Richmond. I'm 24 years old and an avid knife collector. I also enjoy woodworking and knife making in my spare time. Unfortunately, my job doesn't allow for much of it, so my production is slow at best. Not much else I can say, save that I am but a simple man of many talents and not enough time to enjoy any of them.

Hi McGyver,

I had a girlfriend who called me that, didn't get until I saw the program a few times. Turned out to be close; I never leave home with out a Swiss Army Classic and a Bic pen. Ever see the series Rough Science? Hope you like it here.

WELCOME, Mr. McGyver!

Don't listen to the "X-Man." He's been trying to get me to give him candy ever since he reared his pointy little head here...

Well, I do seem to find myself among like minded individuals, which is a bonus. I look forward to learning some tips and sharing a few of my own. Speaking of which, were would I post tips on finishing up fix blades? Anyway, thanks again and I promise, I won't take any candy from strangers.

Welcom to TB McGyver. It's always good to have more constructive talent around here. Not that any of the members or myself are without social value or merit... We can always have a poll about that.

Here's a question for you guys. When you go out to dinner, and order a steak, do you use the house cutlery or whatever is in your pocket? I usually take along my mikov when I go out to dinner, and prefer slicing my meat with it. I had a waitress once ask me about it, and I showed her mow my knife cut through a 2" thick steak like it was butter. I then used the knife on the table, and it was like sawing a tree down with a butter knife. I guess what I am getting at is, Am I the only one besides my family members that does this?
