whippersnapper wrote:Welcome Greg...Sorry, you just sounded like you might be named Frank. I have gotten good and bad knives from all the Italian makers, so I really don't have a favorite. What works best for me is relying on the guy I buy from to pick me out a good one and trusting their descriptions. Buying directly has never worked too well for me.
I have only a couple of Renzo's (both good). Not really enough to form a strong opinion of my own except to trust my fellow collectors reviews, and all until yours have been positive.
Re: renzo beltrame
Very glad to be able to welcome you fellas to this forum. I have been happy with the quality of your knives over the years. I've had a couple of lemons also. People must realize that no one is perfect. As I said earlier welcome.

Perhaps not. Please re-read this forum rule: "Do not discuss importations, customs, shipping companies, or ways to illegaly import knives in your nation." This discussion is headed down a slippery slope. Any further posts along these lines and this thread will be locked.georgyboy wrote: I WONDER IF THIS CAUTION IS WARRANTED OR NOT? Re: renzo beltrame
I have bought many of Renzo's knives and am pleased with them all! I will continue to buy from him. His communications are excellent and a nice guy also!
Re: renzo beltrame
Hello Renzo and Nicola,
I too have several Renzo's in various lengths, and am very happy with them. I would recommend Renzo's knives to anybody. I have always wondered if Renzo, Nicola, Armando, and Frank are related (sons, brothers, nephews......)?
I have usually had very good luck with about anything Beltrame.
Don't let the lack of number of posts concern any of you. I would be surprised if a LOT of you don't know me fairly well. I have bought autos from at least a handfull of people who frequent here.
Have a great week, and Merry Christmas.
